Hey everyone!
I am not new to chickens but have wanting to join BYC for awhile. After the tragic loss to my entire flock (by something big and strong), i took a break from raising chickens for about a year and a half and decided to start all over 2 weeks ago. I have a random assortment of 26 chicks and started turkeys for the first time ever (per my husbands request) and i am loving it!

Welcome to this group, it is a really good group and there are many articles of info. So sad about your flock, glad to see you are recovering and back to it again.

Do you live in an area with bears ?

Not really, northeast arkansas. We have a few bears but a few people reported large cat attacks at the time
