(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am sorta new. My dad had chickens for years but we've been out of it for several years.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The eggs and teaching my kids

Doing research now to decide on breed. Only thinking two because I will be in a gated community on a small lot with a strict HOA regulation I will have to stay in.
