Hey y'all

Hmm, Buff Orrington's are quite, good egg layers, and very friendly but they are good broodies which you may not want. Rhode island reds are also good egg layers and they are quiet but not as affectionate. They don't go broody often so that's usually a plus for you're situation. Wyandottes are most common in the suburbs and they are good egg layers but they can be costly. Silkies are small, quite, and adorable but they aren't great egg layers because they go broody so often.
