I have a friend whose dream is to live the RV life you described; unfortunately, her husband is less charmed with the idea. Sometimes, when I'm trudging out in the cold (like during this morning's surprise snowfall) to care for poultry and critters, I think it would be so much fun to be able to travel.

But, settling down has its advantages -- like being able to raise Buff Orps! The queen of my flock and last surviving original flock member is a Buff Orpington. As you know, they are wonderful birds. Dear Honey has been through a multitude of traumas -- which may have left her with a teeny, tiny bit of an attitude. But, it's well deserved.

W did love traveling, but it is so nice to know that you have a place to park your rig and hang your hat, so to speak. Raising chickens, and eventually an aquaponic garden has been a dream of mine that was definitely not aligned with the nomad lifestyle. It's so nice to have all come together.

My husband was the one who came up with the traveling lifestyle idea, I was very reluctant at first. We went from 3000sqft to 187. I wasn't sure we could do it, and still end up liking each other. Lol! But here we are!
