I'm new to the forum but not to BYC site. We just bought our 16 acre farm back in May. I had 3 BR hens and a rooster. We didn't have a good pen and something got into them all. We had had them for about 2 years. My husband, some friends and I just build a new coop 12.5 feet by 14.5 feet and a bought my new starter flock. 5BR hens, a BR rooster and 4 Buff hens! We also have 3 kids, 3 dogs and a cat

Just trying to make our lil farm self sustainable! I hope to get a few other different hardy farm breeds as well as try my hand at Silkies for the kids to take to the fair

I look forward to getting really great advice and seeing everyones feather friends
