My name is Kala and I'm from NE Ga! I'm wanting to learn more about meat birds and egg layers. I'm totally new to the whole raising chickens world! So if you have any information to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

The best way to learn about chickens is to search the forum about what ever your questions are. You learn a lot just from reading other posts on here.

If you go to the Raising Backyard Chickens forum, and scroll down thru the side tabs you will find the thread regarding meat birds. There are also tabs concerning egg laying etc. etc. The Learning Center is a great place to start.
