Hi everyone! I’m a new chick mom, but I’ve wanted chickens and to start a little homestead for at least a decade. I don’t have my land (yet), but after years of moving around I’m putting down roots, have a backyard, and finally got me some buff Orpington and australorp chicks. I plan on adding some Americauna’s and maybe a couple barnevelders. One of my kiddos shares a love for chickens and hopes to show them in 4H. A couple of the chicks think she is her mama.
