My name is Barb Pyles and I am new to this. I only have two hens and thought this would be a good way to learn more about them. I think they are cornish rocks I am not real sure about that, just know that they are big stock.

Greetings from Kansas, Barb, and

! Pleased you joined us! Not sure if the birds you have aren't something called a Cornish Cross - it is the mainstay of the meat market for chicken - if that's what they are was your intention to eat them? They really aren't bred for laying. Good luck to you!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan :D

As redsox said, cornish rock are hybrid (crossbred) birds raised for 6-8 weeks then processed for meat.
