Heyyy everyone! New chick on the block here! :)

I got my 6 hens from some friends who had to move and couldn't take them. the hens consist of 4 RIR (probably production reds) a Speckled Sussex, and an Easter Egger (my profile pic)
my 3 chicks are from my neighbors flock (she has a "stud" of a rooster haha) and I incubated the eggs. two are RIR/Ameraucana crosses, and the other is a Barred Rock/Ameraucana cross. :) I will post pics. :)

That's a gorgeous Easter Egger in your profile pic. Our Easter Eggers are my granddaughter's (pictured in my profile pic) favorite chickens. She loves their colored eggs. I've had Speckled Sussex (along with dozens of other breeds) in the past and they were so friendly and gentle that my children made lap pets of them. I've seriously considered on several occasions getting some more of them so that my granddaughter can have the experience of raising them. I'll look forward to seeing you pics.
