Hello everyone, I am new to BYC and am recently looking for new hens in OK. A few weeks ago, my 6 chickens were attacked by a dog. We now only have 3, one of the three is lucky to be alive, with only a few chunks of feathers ripped out of her. We are on the hunt now for 2-3 new hens, must be laying. We hope they will replace our little chickens who were so full of character...the dog is gone now and we are putting up a new fence soon. We would like the hens to be brown egg layers. thank you for your time and i'm excited to be one of the newest members of the BYC family.

As a last resort, check Craigslist "farm and garden" in your area.
