I just wanted to introduce myself. I grew up having chickens roaming around our small country neighborhood, but I don't know a ton about how to raise them. We are building a home and we would like to build a small coop with 3 or 4 hens. I research everything I do before making decisions which is sometimes annoying, but I think it's really important before diving in to something like this uneducated. I figured this forum was a great place to read information from previous posters and ask questions. Nice to "meet" y'all!

yes do your research, they take a lot of time caring for them, they are relaxing and at times frustrating. They develop personalities, and love attention.
