Hey y’all!
I’m new here to BYC. I’m somewhat experienced with chickens but I am not an expert. I’m learning daily. I have 5 hens, 1 roo and chicken math is moving in on me as I have 12 chicks in a brooder currently.
I am not a “breed specific” type, I typically just go for what is pretty or what color eggs they’ll end up laying and if they’ll survive where I am.
That being said, all of my chickens are different breeds. The only one I am unsure of is Kevin, my rooster. Yes, they all have names.
I love watching all of their personalities, they’re all so funny in their own ways.
I’ve found myself stumbling upon BYC to read others experiences and advice when it comes to everything chicken related. I look forward to continuing to educate myself and connecting with other chicken tenders.
