Hey y'all. I've been keeping chickens for about 4 years now. I just had a mystery broody hatch out 9 babies, so I think I'm up to thirty? I also have a dozen ducklings, two dogs, a cat, a husband, and three mostly feral children.

Um, I don't remember all the welcome questions, but I've spent years searching this forum for answers to questions other folks have asked. I'd finally just like to ask them myself.

I think the good news is that, surrounded by an array of critters, your "mostly feral" children will likely grow up pretty well adjusted; most animals have well-defined social orders .

Your new babies are ADORABLE!
