Hello all, I’m located in north Ga and have had 5 RIR hens for about 14 months they are excellent layers and we decided we wanted more this spring but were unable to find RIR so we decided on 12 Cinnamon Queens and they are currently 5 1/2 weeks and getting to explore their new outdoor coop. My 10 year old needed to experience incubation so we located a RIR rooster and currently are in the middle of hatching hopefully 17 RIR chicks. currently number 7 is here and it’s day 22 as of 12:30 today. Hopeful for more. I’ve included pictures of my RIR parents, as well as the newly hatched babies that are dry enough for the brooder. Also a picture of the cinnamon queens.
