I've not had a chance to introduce myself.
I gained 3 bantams last September (21). They were funny little girls at 16wks.
The gent said they'd lay around Christmas. Lo, my first egg Christmas day.
They've been fun, frustrating and a fab addition.
I've used the forum a few times now., thank you to everyone.
I had a girl trying to be top girl and gave me 2 pecks that day. The 2nd a low run and pecked my lip. So used the advice here and she's a cool little thing.
I'm now on a 2nd broody period and they're not even a year old. I'm using advice and have just made my first post.
I also made myself ill this weekend. It was time I dealt with the deep fill! Wanted to scrape the pen too.
Didn't use a mask..... Yup, I should have popped by, but all previous cleanings have been fine. But I guess this being a big spring clean....
So, I vomited, and had diahorrea thru Saturday. Awful on Sunday. Its now Wednesday and I'm still not right.
Mainly, I seem to be taking well to what they need. Just thought I'd highlight my mistake so others might not.
