i got what i think is a broody hen she has turned nasty when i tried to get eggs out today if i want to let her go natural do i leave her where she is or move her away from flock i have already got 15 eggs in inc that are due in 9 days so can put her eggs if if she stops any ideas

I leave my girls alone and things have always worked them selves out. Other folks prefer to move the hen and her chicks. I find that leaving them with their flock eliminates the need to introduce the Hen and her chicks back into the flock later. I would give her 3 eggs to hatch. Using a sharpie or other lasting marker, place an "X" on the fat end and the pointy end of the eggs you want her to hatch. That way, you'll know which eggs to remove every day. I currently have 2 broody hens sharing 5 turkey eggs in the same nest.

that brill idea as my other girls do tend to want to lay in box that she is in at mo just need some wire mesh gloves then and if it wont hurt her staying there ill leave her i guess
