Hi! I bought a 4 acre farm about two months ago. I had horses and barn cats - and wanted chickens. Stephen, my love, kept saying no no no. Well. Our neighbor brought over three Black Sex Links on the day of our housewarming party as a gift! I WAS THRILLED! They are staying in a makeshift lean-to/coop area. Tomorrow, I try my best to build a decent coop with my bare hands! WISH ME LUCK! <3

My thought exactly. Epic, bold move by our neighbor. He looked at me, then at Stephen, then back at me and said, "He'll get over it once he falls in love with 'em!" Then he walked away. I was so happy!!! Haha.
