What did you do in the garden today?

The raccoon got the concord grapes. Wah! I’ll have to come up with something to keep the grapes for me. I picked all the peaches I could reach. Tomorrow DD will come over to hold the ladder for me. There’s at least another dozen or so at the top of the tree.
Today’s haul:

These are so pretty

I need to get working on processing these.

My body is falling apart, so I decided to get this Wonder Core exercise equipment and take baby steps. I won't do regular sit ups without some help.

I have exercised every day since I was 5 or 6 years old. Started working out with my mom, can anyone remember Jack LaLane? That's what those exercises remind me of (without the equipment of coarse). Anyway I applaud you! Get that body in shape, you're going to need every bit of strength and muscle tone to keep doing the things you love for as long as you love!

It rained a little bit here this morning which is good. But all my onions and shallots were outside curing on rabbit cages and got wet, which is bad. I moved them all to the covered back deck this morning to finish drying.

And being the Onion Whisperer you won’t have any negative outcomes from them getting wet.

Yes indeed, I remember Jack LaLane

Haha! Well, if they were still in the garden rain wouldn't bother them at all. And besides, I quietly encouraged them to behave and not rot.

He was going to swim every year on his birthday (I think), towing the same number of boats as his age. Not sure how far along he got before he quit, maybe into his 80s?

ETA: He towed 70 boats with 70 people on his 70th birthday.

Picked a few tomatoes. Out of the four tomato plants I grew from seeds saved from the plant that had yellow fruits last year, only one has yellow tomatoes. The other three have red tomatoes. Guess I'll save seeds again from this year's yellow-tomato plant and see if more have yellow fruit next year.

Not enough for making salsa, but getting there. To guage size, they're in the bottom of a beer 30 pack box.

And I picked these two too big zucchinis and a cuke.
