My name's April and I'm a stay at home mom expecting #2, currently in mesa, but moving to the Kingman/Golden Valley area before summer rolls in.
We're getting our first home and I for sure want to start a 'hobby farm' hopefully 1+ acre starting with chickens and gardening. My chickens would definitely be layers and some for meat as well, just for the family, but I've always thought it would be cool to end up with enough eggs to sell extras
Anyways I've been stalking BYC so I thought I would officially join to mentally become prepared for my future of raising chickens. I'm so lucky to have a hubby who just looks at me crazy and let's me do my strange old-fashioned hobbies. Probably only because he likes food lol!
