Hi, all from Central America

I'm relatively new to chickens, been rescuing them from becoming dinner for over 2 years now. I have two roosters and five hens. We live in lovely tropical Central America and I'm excited about learning from you all's pooled knowledge and insights into these majestic birds. Here's two before and after pics of Shelbs and me of when he first got me (he showed up at my doorstep as a chick, short of ringing the bell - lucky me!) and of Shelbs at one years old. Yesterday, sweet Shelby had his 2nd homecoming (melon) anniversary.
