On June 29th I'll have my (hopefully all) girls! I've done lots of research so far, and I wanted a mix of good egg layers, and good with kids. Since it's my first time I went with 6 who look nothing alike lol.... Australorp, Buff Orpington, Speckled Susssex, Barred Rock, Delaware, and a New Hampshire. We go on Monday to buy the wood to build our coop and run! I'm so excited. Thanks for having me here, and I can't wait to learn more =)

The reviews on the cheaper ones alone made me shudder. The costs of the quality ones made me want to cry lol. I bought $19 plans online, and using my daughter as free labor. She took 3 years of wood shop, so I may be just the adult helper. Hopefully, I attached the picture correctly

You did! Make the run a lot bigger than what is shown. I don't know if you were incorporating that as well.

I planned on making it about 4-6 ft longer. We're taking down some old fencing where it would be going tomorrow, to get the final measurements. Do you think that would be enough?
