Hi all, I'm a new member from east TN and am starting to raise Naked Neck chickens. I love the breed, even tho everyone says they're ugly, I love them! A real friendly chicken that are dual purpose, altho I don't eat my chickens. Since I'm new to this breed, any advice I can get would be helpful. Just got in 9 day old pullets and already have a grown roo.

Anyone else out there do Turkens/Naked Necks?

Do you know there is also a variety of the silkie breed called "Showgirls". They have the silkie fluff and the naked neck of a turken. They may be bearded or not. Bow tie or not.
Beautiful birds in a variety of colors , bantam sized.
