I will Try and get a video this morning of the "Squat" out of my Barred rocks and ISA reds. I read everything i can find about chickens online and with the excitement of the soon to come Eggs I have read about all the tale tale signs of prelay.. Now ill try and capture it on video for everyone.. Also I will hold my phone sideways when i try and take the video this time so that i dont get another tall narrow screen video.. Sorry about those by the way, I am Learning a lot about how to do this all on my Own.. this is my practice.. :()
 
I have had chickens for about 2 years this site has an amazing amount in info from experienced chicken owners. I always reference byc when I have questions and it has served me well. Such a friendly bunch
 
My Chickens are Camera Shy. When i get the video going they dont squat for me. I put my camera away and they all wanna do the squat. The Barred rock in the coop did squat down while I petted her but not like they have been with the wings to the side and all braced for impact looking.. I added the video anyways after about fifteen trys it is the best they would do for me. I have noticed them doing the squat for a little less than a week now but No eggs yet. I hope there will be one soon before i go crazy haha ..
