Hi All, long time user.. Can my Australorp Roo fertilize my Hamburg hens?

Hey All

I have an almost year-old full-sized australorp roo(Frank), and among many other hens, 4 silver spangled hamburgs(Hans, Franz, Bornze, and Ringo). I have never seen Frank try to breed a Hamburg (but I also don't spend a lot of time paying attention to who he is breeding). Since the hamburgs are considered Bantams, I was not sure if Frank could or would breed them. Does anyone know? Thanks,

! Pleased you joined us! Unsure of this is the right answer but I don't think Frank would hesitate - bantams or not. You've seen him breeding other hens? Good luck to you!

I don't know about your birds specifically, but my roos will breed anything that walks by them. My bantam chocolates breed my large fowl hens. Maybe you just haven't seen it happen.
