Coop was delivered today and I got it put in a semi permanent position with my tractor. It doesn’t have much for ventilation as you guys expected so I’ll have to do some slight modifications.. suggestions are welcomed.

Well here is a progress post, I’ve completed the shell of the run and have started painting the coop so I can move into its final place attached to the run. The run is 8x20 and has a metal roof. I’ll be closing it in with hardware cloth.

Good on you - that is a handsome looking coop, but it sure does need more ventilation! Here are some tips about adding ventilation. Note also about adding 1/2 or 1/4 inch hardware cloth over the holes you cut, so you aren't making doors for local predators to come in for a chicken dinner!

It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page.
