I am a newbie to this.My son has 3 rir hens and 2 roos for now.We live in scarolina. My lil one has built a homemade incubator last week and has 4 eggs as a trial for now.Today is DAY 8.THanks for the help we have read on BYC...

Welcome to BYC! This is such a great hobby for kids. My son enjoyed showing chickens at 4-H. Best thing about this hobby is you get an egg almost everyday.
