Hello everyone, I have been keeping chickens for the best part of a week and I'm really enjoying it. I'm learning as I go. I'm from newport, South Wales, United Kingdom. My chickens are kept on my allotment and I have learnt a lot already like I didn't realise how much chickens drink.

Greetings, pablo220, and

Welcome!

As you have already received links to some great starting points, I will just wish you all the best.

Please forgive me, I have had a pretty bad week and now it is over, I am in a silly mood ... I instantly had a mental picture of a flock of chickens milling around a bar, knocking back pints! lol

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
