(1) Hi I am new to the world of chickens and have finally fulfilled my five year dream of getting 12 layers (Berg browns). I found about this website from watching care videos on youtube. I also enjoy gardening and general yard work. I have many fruit trees in my yard...Apples, plums, cherries, pears and crab apples. I have a small Raspberry patch and four gardens situated throughout my property. I think being outside when I get home from work just melts the stress away. I truly believe my girls are making my life calm and relaxing. |They have taught me to sit and chill and just enjoy life.
That's what chickens do. Many folks pull up a chair and watch "Chicken TV," - no reruns, no commercials, full color, no satellite or cable bills. What's not to like?
