I have been getting ideas and learning from this site now for a few months. My husband decided a few years ago that he wanted chickens. I have never had chickens and with where we live was not all that excited about the idea of chickens. It was just gonna be cat food.
But after 2 years, he decided to go for it and in the matter of 3 months we have a total of 20 chickens and 4 call ducks and they are so much fun and great responsibility for my 6 year old daughter. We have a huge coop for the chickens and the perfect size smaller coop for the ducks. We are still slowly getting the bird area together but we are really enjoying all our feathered friends.
This sight has been full of information that has helped me make my chickens and ducks happy.
We are now hoping for eggs soon!
