(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My wife has had chickens in the past, but I have not. We are going to get some this spring though.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0 Chickens at this moment. We do have 4 ducks currently with 4 more on the way.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Saxony, Buff, Cayuga, White Crested
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their fun personalities.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Sports, gardening, woodworking, traveling, and spending time with our pets.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I life outside of Birmingham, Alabama. We have a golden retriever, a red heeler, and long haired domestic cat, 2 pygmy goats, and 4 ducks. We are both new to "farm" life, but we are loving it.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
We have googled and found plenty of answers on here regarding the ducks and I decided it was time to join!
