Hi my name is Jimmy. Me and my lovely wife Nicole, also a new member, decided to get chickens after I guess about 4 years of debate. HaHaHa. We are both excited about the new experience and for me the challenge of building a coop/run and securing the yard for some free range time as well. Spent the last couple of weeks looking at coops both online and in person. Ended up drafting up my own idea and plan which I will be posting in the coop section. Built a brooder box yesterday and bought about 95 percent of the coop/run materials today and will start building tomorrow if the weather holds out. Chicks will be here in about two weeks. Hope it all works out and looking forward to chatting with you all and learning as well. From what I have seen in here it looks like a great group of folks. Thanks!
