Hi there,
I've used this site and all of your knowledge for a couple of years for my go to chicken info. I currently have 16 hens, 1 rooster, and 4 ducks (one of which believes she is a male rooster- whole other story, lol). We live in michigan (lansing area) and I look forward to getting to know some of you!

Nope, we THOUGHT he was a drake for two years and recently found out "he" is a she that thinks she is a rooster! Apparently this can happen when a lone duck is raised with a flock of chickens. I had no idea. And just when we thought things couldn't get any more ridiculous here, LOL!!
