Brand new chicken mom here! Glad to be a part of the group and learn from you all. I have been using BYC as a resource in preparation to getting my ladies. I have 5 RI Red hens for about 7 weeks now. All approx. 14 months old. Great personalities, intelligent and such fun! After they got adjusted to their new home they became prolific layers. 4-5 eggs per day. Look forward to learning.
