I'm new here but have been using the forums to help me along the way with my first small flock! I have a small flock of 5 chickens. 4 hens and 1 rooster ( the rooster was wrong on so many levels....lol) he was supposed to be female (picked from a pullet bins at TSC) and he was supposed to be a sapphire gem (he's clearly a black Australorp). Looking forward to all the help with my journey with backyard chickens. And I hope to be helpful as I learn more along the way!
