Got my first chicks 2 weeks ago

Easter Egger and Brahma
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I can stare at them and time seems to vanish. They're adorable and despite being brand new to the world they all have their own personalities
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Raising Bees and Knitting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Have 2 kids, a old Coon/Shep/Lab Mix Dog, and a 17 year old Black Cat that is going to live forever.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google. Had questions about chickens and this site kept popping up over and over. Finally decided to join after buying my first flock.
