For the record I have 5 Sapphire Gem girls in varying shades of blue. One is quite dark name Suzy. She is my darling. In my face all the time looking for a treat. She is undersized but I don't care. She has a buddy that is also undersized that is much lighter. She to is an in your face kid as soon as we open the coops for recreation. The rest vary from bird to bird.

I’m crossing my sapphire gem with a chocolate Orpington now hoping for mauve sexlinxs like this pulleta should be Mauve color and cockerels should be blue grey

I noticed immediately that similar personality about mine too. She'll let me pet on her without hesitation. My Speckled Sussex and Golden Lace are next in order of friendly and curious with me. Or maybe it's the fresh picked dandelions and treats I bring them? Lol No matter. We're stuck together now.
