Hi all, we currently live in the north georgia mountains, used to live next door to the cascades. Congrats on the fantastic weather recently to those in the northwest, we're sweltering!
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am not entirely new to chickens but I just received the first batch I've owned myself this morning.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 11 adorable chicks right now; it's a mixed bag of silver laced wyandottes, buff orpingtons, barred rocks, and easter eggers.
(3) What breeds do you have?

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I did tons of research before ordering babies; it probably still won't be enough
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
spending time with our dogs (Drooly, newfoundland and Alfie, bichon mix), gardening, etc.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Engaged, furry (and now feathered) kids only, am a professional dog groomer. We bought our first house recently and can't wait to get started on turning our 15 acres into a proper farm. Hence, the chickens.
