I know it's been a while since i have been around. we have been super busy with life lately.

We were trying to get a new house put in where our mobile home was.. with basement and all that.. well, the whole sum was way more than we had started with and we called it quits. so that was a no. anyway, after that we decided to buy. we saw a house we liked.. an old farm house but no barn or nothing. but it was rather a nice little lot, it's got a fairly close neighbor, but not too bad as he is related through marriage or something. lol. anyway, we ended up going through rural lending.. and we did get it. we just signed on the 12th. YaY!

Well, first we have to update the electric.. otherwise no company would insure us. so we are working on that, while still living in the mobile home. (i am ready to get out of this little sardine box) anyway, painting, has been done, (most of it anyway) but the electric has taken up most of our tax money so a lot will have to go until next year. but it's all stuff that can wait. the roof is newer, the furnace is newer. but the things that are older are major things. and they WILL need to be fixed.. installed dug whatever. Septic and Well. so.. yeah lots of money right there. but that can wait too(as long as we take care of it)

I can still have my chickens(YAY!) the person that has bought our place doesn't need us to move right away. which is obviously a good thing considering the electric at the other place.. oh and he's also the one helping us with the electric. and to top it off.. we have made new friends lol. and they want chickens..

so with all that has gone on.. it's been fairly decent. the youngest one is starting to potty on the potty. the oldest one is doign fairly well in school and the middle one is just a handful. lol

i have read a few posts today but not much time as i am trying to pack as well. but i wanted to let everyone know that we are doing well, and things are going fairly well. we both have jobs, no one is hungry and we have clothes to wear

so all in all, things are good!

oh yeah, and i want to know about the GFM? i don't remember buying myself one.. so i figure someone else had to have gifted it to me? lol. how do i find out who did it?

Great to see you posting, again, and that's great news about the house! Sounds like a lot of work, but SO worth it! Congratulations!

Good luck with the new house! DH and I are in the same boat. We've been renovating a house that had to have the whole front torn off and rebuilt cause it was coming down. We've redone most of the electrical including a new, expanded breaker box, DH put in new pipes and we are still trying to finish the bathrooms and kitchen. Ran out of money so the progress is really slow these days but who needs floors? At least the tub, toilets and sinks work.

Thanks, it's been a lot of work but so worth it for the kids to have their own room. to have more space in the house, and to have an actual dinner table(the place we live in now.. has barely enough room to have a table.. no chairs though) which was included with the house! i am so happy to have a house, and not a trailer

I am hoping to get back into the swing of things for chickens. the guy that has been helping us with the electric(and who bought our place..) him and his g/f want chickens.. and i told them id be more than happy to help lol. most of my chicks from last year were roosters(that i hatched out) and then i had problems with possums and hawks and all this other junk. and i also had Cocci issues. so i lost a lot this last year

i will be ordering pullets in a few days..when i get back to the farm supply store lol. perhaps ill take mike with(the guy who's helping us) i am an enabler LMAO. i know i want turkens, and easter eggers lol. that's probably about all i am gonna get. but cripes i saw the price last weekend and i about pooped my pants lol. so. who knows.

plus i got my sis in law into button quail. haha. i gave mine to her till after we move.. but im not so sure she's gonna want to give them back lol.

all i can say after all this packing crap(and i am NOT even CLOSE to being done just packing lol) i will be having a nice big GARBAGE sale lol. rummage. garbage.. whatever lol. i have so much stuff that i don't use, need or want.. lol.

I have kids clothes, my clothes, hubby's clothes, figurines, books, magazines, games, toys, movies, dvds, etc etc etc. i could go on and on about everything i have found that i can get rid of. lol. and whatever doesn't sell.. will be going on freecycle, or dontated to goodwill or the womans shelter lol. i got too much stuff.

i dind't realize how much i actually had until getting ready to move stuff this weekend. i hauled four loads. doesn't even look like i did anything.

anyone wanna help? lol. or come for my rummage sale and buy some stuff so i can have some cash lol.
