I am new to the forum and to owning chickens! We just got 12 chicks and i can not believe how fast they are growing! I already have my favorite! LOL My husband is in the process of building an 8x8 ft coop in our yard! it is his first solo building project and its coming out AWESOME! so happy to find a place online that can answer my questions and to just chat with fellow chicken lovers!

My husband and I first started looking to get chickens because we have a horrible bug problem in our yard. I have a 4 yr old son, Geoffrey, and a french bulldog, Eddie, that is acting as my chicks mom! So funny! So far i have buff orpingtons, brahmas, amberinks and bantums! Looking to get some wyandottes and easter eggers to finish off my little flock!
