Hi all, I'm new to BYC, and new to keeping chickens, only got 3 so far with another 4 hens on the way, ( still under heat lamp ). So will need help along the way. That's for sure.

Thank you, I'm having big fun so far, I've got a beautiful Sarama cockerel, a feisty silkie, and a silkie/Sussex bantam cross, who is quite a lady. All very different characters.

Loving BYC, very funny stories, getting the hang of my chickens now, my flock is upto 14, with a real mix of birds. Seramas, Dutch, Polish, and pekin hens, and my babies have just started laying in the last few days so I'm very proud of my girls.
