I have been keeping chickens for a couple years and I'm still loving it but I live in Croydon so foxes are a daily occurrence!

chickens are going to need a really secure coop and run.

It was a whole family effort to get the run done but it is very secure. It's when they are free ranging that the issues occur - one attack happened when I was only 10 foot away!

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

I too have had a bird snatched by a fox when I was just out of eyesight of her. I do like having foxes around though, so most of the time my birds are securely penned.
