Hi! I'm new to BYC too. But I have had chickens from chicks for one year! I have nine hens, six pullets. No roosters... yet. I have a lot of chickens questions often and will use this site often!

Thanks guys! Everyone is so friendly so far! I am trying to get my chickens and ducks used to being handled more and today my New Hampshire Red (unsure of gender as of yet) nearly fell asleep in my arms. A duck also deigned to let me snuggle up to it a little, too. I could be mistaken, but I think it liked when I scratched under its head.
