Hello everyone! The past couple of days I've been coming here unregistered & have found lots of info. I'm glad I happened to stumble across this site. My 4 yr old just got a duckling as a gift & I feel like a new lost mama on how to care for our new member to our family lol. We have (2) 1 1/2 yr old cats: Juju & Meow, (3) 6 month old kittens: Furball, Batman, & Mr. Humphries. (3) 3 week old kittens: Swedgin, Cuddles, & Runaway. (2) dogs: Twankers (9 yrs old), & Rudy (10 yrs old). Interesting names huh? Lol. Anyways, it seems to be very friendly here & a place I'm going to frequent quite often. I have a lot of questions, & of coarse concerns lol. Hope everyone is having a great day. :)

What a cute avatar! Is this the new duckling? Adorable!

Make yourself at home here and enjoy that cutie pie of a duckling!

Thanks! @TwoCrows
Thank you, yes s/he is. All I was told about him was that he was about 2 weeks old (got him a week ago). Don't know what breed he is, its gender, or anything else. Just was told they eat bird seed. Since been reading through the forums here I've read otherwise. Yesterday he got broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, & a bit of chicken. Been trying to find a good feed for him & plan on fermenting it. :)

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. X3 on the duck link. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your pets.
