Hi I have been rearing 3 babies now for 10 weeks. They have been out in their new coop for 2 weeks.
I would like to know how much food do you feed them?
I leave the growing chicken feed always in the cage but take down treats for them.
How often is it ok to feed them as they always eat what ever I take them down, its mainly brown rice, corn, bean sprouts and bok choy.
They eat better than we do.
Any advice would be helpful.

thanks
in advance

Mine are fed free choice. They have access to their food and water 24/7. When it's empty I refill it. They also get any leftovers from the fridge we have!!

My birds have access to food and water all day. They also get a lot of treats. As long as it's fresh and clean I wouldn't worry too much about over feeding. Mine free range during the day and don't look to be over weight at all. I too think my birds eat better than I do (at least healthier) mommy doesn't share her chocolate!
