Hi BYC.

My wife and I have about 4 acres. We talked about getting chickens for a while and finally done some research through friends and the internet. We started with 3 Barred Rocks and 2 Americana hens and we couldn't resist the the 2 cute ducklings at the store either.

After the ducklings grew so quick I had to complete their house and run. I am currently modifying a coop I built for my wife's grandmother a couple years ago for her 2 hens. The coop has been a project and I have learned a lot thanks to this site. My chickens will love their new place here in about a week.

Haha at least one duck always has to make the cut :P Welcome to BYC! I know you'll have tons of fun :D I used to have a duckling and he grew up thinking he was a chicken since his mates were all chicks xD
