I've had chickens most of my life, but just recently I sold off my flock of 25 hens in preparation for a move to Wasilla, Alaska. Our home was actually in escrow but the escrow fell through. We've actually changed the direction of our move since then. We dropped the price on our home yesterday in hopes of getting a quicker sale and when it sells we are going to move to the Kalispell, Montana area. Farms are less expensive there and the cost of living is less than in Alaska. When we get moved, we will defnitely be getting chickens again. :o)

Check out your state thread, you might find chicken folks near you - a great way to make 3 dimensional friends you might go and visit.
