Hi, my name is Allysha Burns, I am 23 and I live on a little farm in Manitoba Canada.
I currently own 7 Specked Sussex chickens, 2 Dark Cornish chickens and 1 Black Jersey Giant. I also have 2 Muscovy x ducks, 2 horses and a dog.
I have always had chickens as I was growing up, however this is my first time raising my own heritage breeds on my new farm!
I have been reading your forums and posts for quite some time now and I figured it was finally time to join up!

Allysha, I see you have a good start of chickens, and some good egg laying breeds. Just keep in mind that BYC's has helpful questions and answers to help you manage your flock. Welcome aboard.
 
Hi, and welcome to BYC! I just have one question, and that is if you are raising the Cornish for meat birds, or not. If I sound dumb, sorry.
