My name is Chispa. I have been raising 14 chickens and one roster since April 22, 2020. I look forward to sharing with you and learning from all.

Hello, and welcome! What breed or breeds do you have? Good luck with your flock!

My bird breeds are as follows:

6 Female Barred Rocks. I call them all Chiquiadas, which means spoiled in English. They are very loving and enjoy cuddling. It is hard to tell one apart from the other.

3 Black Jersey Giants. I call them Guapas, which means precious in English because they are majestic and well precious.

1 Salmon Faverolle I call her Lucky. She was the only one of her breed that lived, so that is why she is lucky. She is noisy and acts like a little princess!

5 Black Australorp 5 (One is a roster called Felix). They are inquisitive and very alert. They don't like cuddling with me at all. They seem to stick together and protect each other. I call them precious and one I call flower. She loves to eat rose petals.

Yes, one roster and 14 chickens. My Roster "Felix" has his own harem! This is why I call him Felix sounds like "Feliz" in Spanish, which means Happy!
