Welcome to BYC! I recommend using 1/2 inch hardware cloth (very strong mesh wire) instead of chicken wire, most predators can rip right thru chicken wire. Go over your coop and run carefully, making sure there are no places in which an animal can squeeze thru. Also, when putting wire on your coop bury about 12 inches of it all the way around to deter digging. I also installed safety latches on all doors including the nest box. Good luck to you.
