is it tru that i can pour litle apple vinager in the water the first 2 weeks so they prevent cocsi???
i have had bad experiences and always end up with 20 % most die as they grow, mom say that its because i spoiled them too much by having the ligh on all the time and all that she suggest me that next time i buy them to just keep them in a box for a week then put them out in the back yard no lights or anything,

thats what my neybor does all the time in fact i just buy 6 for her couple of weeks a go and i went to see them today and they look so healthy she say no light no nothing but keep them in a box for a week. so what mom tells me lol whta should i do? and what a bout the vinager thing is that true? so its to prevent ealy deads.

Leaving the birds in a box for a week with nothing will result in a box of dead birds.

Day old CX chicks need heat. Reduce the heat after a week, and by week three they shouldn't need much if any heat. I'm moving my 3.5 week old chicks outside tomorrow.

Make sure they always have water, feed 12 on, 12 off, from a week old until slaughter.

They need shelter when outside. I use this pen.

Move it daily.

Slaughter at 7-10 weeks, depending on what you are looking for in size and age.

oh yea trust me my neybor do that all the time alth oshe puts them inside the house at night time but during the day she puts the box with the babys out on the back of the truck under a tree i have seen it no light no heat at all and alway always ALWAYS have 100 results and i do the total oposite and always end up with 20 %

what about the apple vinager? does it work?


these past i bough 7 and die spent so much money in medicins and ended up with only 2 healthy birds altho in week 6 one couldnt walk too fat i just had them for dinner with all my friends and a birthday girl heheheh tasty love it. i wish we would eat all 7 of them tonight but no no luck im doing what she does these time i will go buy them tomorrow 10 of them and i hope i get good results..... and yes i will have a shelter when i put them out side like the one u have on your pic thta i biult today.
